Intersolar 2026: From a small monitor to an autonomous cleaning robot

Three days at Intersolar 2026: honest feedback from real users and competitors – and how a small panel monitor became the autonomous klinobot.

Three days in Munich, Hall C4, the start-up area of The smarter E – our first trade fair with a booth of our own. Thank you to everyone who stopped by: plant operators, farmers, O&M teams, trainers – and yes, the competitors too. Nowhere else does a young team get more honest feedback.

It all started with a small green circuit board

The KLINO panel monitor – right at the module, between the MC4 connectors.

Before there were brushes, there was data. Our panel monitor measures directly at the module what the system really delivers: power, voltage, current, temperature. The curves kept telling the same story: solar plants quietly lose yield – to dust, pollen, moss and small damage on the surface. Visible on the dashboard. On the roof: unresolved.

So we built the missing piece

The klinobot travels across the modules autonomously, cleans gently – and inspects the surface as it goes: soiling, coating damage, micro-cracks. All documented. The measuring device has become a system: detect, clean, prove.

Three days of honest feedback

At the booth: operators, installers, trainers – and plenty of good questions.

The klinobot was put to the test by exactly the people we build for: farmers with modules on several barn roofs. Operators of commercial rooftops and ground-mounted plants up to 19 MWp. O&M professionals from major utilities. Trainers who coach installers. Some visitors requested their first cleaning right at the booth through our booking tool – for us, a fair cannot go better than that.

We also took notes: the moss-covered roof that rain no longer washes clean. The pitched roof that is off-limits for big machines. The warranty that demands clean documentation. That is exactly what we are working on – with gentle, biodegradable cleaning agents and our own approach for pitched roofs.

Next stop: the roof

Up next are pilot cleanings in and around Stuttgart – free of charge under pilot conditions, with before-and-after documentation. If your system should be one of them: request an appointment online or simply reply to our email. #KlinoBooking
